The camp, originally a Boy Scout camp, was acquired by the Girl Scouts in 1949 and used as a troop camp and day camp for many years. This sale will be a unique opportunity to own a piece of Girl Scout and Boy Scout history in the form of a beautiful 112 acre +/- property.Camp Douglas Long is ideal for any organization seeking a retreat setting. “This land tract has everything – great history, timber, streams, lake, housing, good topography and is located close to Greensboro, High Point and Winston Salem.” The camp property at 5440 Graystone Court, Greensboro, includes a dining hall with a screened porch.
